The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold an executive business meeting at 10:00 this morning, at which time one expects the committee to forward to the floor the nomination of Justice Barbara Milano Keenan to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit.
In other news, the Senate confirmed Roberto A. Lange to be United States District Judge for the District of South Dakota and Irene C. Berger to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of West Virginia while I was away.
I do not expect to update the league standings again prior to adjournment sine die. These events are in line with my earlier speculation, in the final paragraph here, and there have been no material changes to the underlying premises.
